The Master Musicians of Joujouka, a musical ensemble from North Africa, Morocco, who have captivated eccentric, unusual, and brilliant minds worldwide, are confirmed to perform in Tokyo!
The Master Musicians of Joujouka are a group of musicians who, for 4,000 years, have lived modestly in the mountains of the Kingdom of Morocco, North Africa, making a living from music passed down through generations. They sing as if in prayer, creating magical grooves with drums and flutes. Their first visit to Japan at FESTIVAL de FRUE in 2017 left us with a deep and profound musical experience for both mind and body. This will be their second visit to Japan, and a rare standalone performance in Tokyo. The performance will feature 11+ musicians and a dancer (Boujeloud), with 270 unreserved seats available, admitted in numerical order. Get your tickets early!
