Sam Gendel & Sam Wilkes
Based in Los Angeles, this duo has gained global attention for their "Jazz-adjacent" musicality, deconstructing jazz idioms and blending ambient and psychedelia.
Sam Gendel utilizes saxophones and wind controllers to create a unique tone with ethereal soundscapes through effects.
He has collaborated with versatile artists such as Ry Cooder, Mach-Hommy, Blake Mills, Laurie Anderson, Perfume Genius, Moses Sumney, Vampire Weekend, and Louis Cole, expanding his activities beyond genre boundaries.
Meanwhile, Sam Wilkes is a bassist/producer with deep grooves and a genre-bending sensibility.
Known as a close partner to Sam Gendel and Louis Cole/KNOWER, and Jacob Mann, he also provides the rhythmic backbone for a wide range of artists from pop to indie and R&B, including Chaka Khan, Mk.gee, Dijon, Rufus Wainwright, Maggie Rogers, Dean Blunt, Jacob Collier, and Dominic Fike.
The music crafted by these two through years of collaboration is surprisingly understated yet exploratory.
Their sound, weaving meticulously constructed rhythms with floating wind instrument melodies, offers listeners a deep sense of immersion.
The "common musical language" that only they, who know each other's breathing so intimately, can play, can be said to be a culmination in contemporary instrumental music.

Fumi Noguchi
Fumi Noguchi creates music incorporating various sounds, valuing improvisation and physical sensations. After studying classical piano, she began producing music at home, releasing her first album "botto" in 2023. In 2025, she released her second album "Fujiko," which she created during a stay in an empty house in Nasu Kogen. She aims to express music in a way that includes the fluctuations of life and time, rather than reducing it to mere function or genre. On May 6, 2026, she released her third album, "Shindemo Isshou," composed entirely of unreleased songs.
