The lo-fi sound, which combines folky Brazilian music with daydream-like electronics, is a must-listen.

Bruno Berle

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Alagoas, Brazil. Born in Maceió, the capital of Alagoas state, Berli began his musical journey at an early age, learning to play the guitar at age 7. He quickly began his professional career, performing at parties, radio stations and talent shows in his hometown. After being a member of the local indie rock band “Troco em Bala”, he moved to São Paulo, where his career began to attract more attention.
He has shared the stage with some of Brazil's most exciting artists, including the members of Barra Deseo, who captivated audiences with their overwhelming live performance at FRUE, and Ana Frango Electrico, who recently performed in Japan, and is one of the artists to watch who continues to make rapid advances in the Brazilian music scene.

Berli started his solo project in 2014, but chose to remove his early works from digital platforms and reset them, defining "No Reino dos Afetos" (2022) as his true debut album. When the album was released by Far Out Recordings in the UK, it received high praise from critics around the world, recorded more than 4 million plays on subscription services in less than a year, and led to sold-out performances in concert halls across Brazil and a European tour.

The second album, In the Kingdom of Affections 2 (2023), which continues the theme and aesthetic of the previous work, follows the original musical style with even greater depth, creating a unique world view by mixing elements of MPB, hip hop, R&B, boogie, and highlife, as well as traditional instruments such as guitars with electronic elements such as synthesizers and beats.

During his visit to Japan, Bellri will be accompanied by his album producer, collaborator, and track maker, Batata Boy, making this a truly "complete" live performance.
